The Righteous Man Fallen

Proverbs 25:26 A righteous man falling down before the wicked is as a troubled fountain, and a corrupt spring.
There is very possibly nothing that the wicked enjoys more, other than wickedness, than to see a righteous man to fall down. The wicked do enjoy seeing others to suffer, especially those that oppose their wicked life style. Dear Christian you may not outwardly oppose wickedness, but that Holy Spirit that resides inside of you very specifically opposes wickedness. Your demeanor and just your facial expressions alone inform the wicked that you oppose them and their devilish deeds. As the devil despises God’s disapproval of his conduct, so also do the wicked despise your disapproval of their conduct; and because of that disapproval, the wicked rejoices when a righteous man falls.
On the day that Samson had toyed too much with his damsel allowing his locks to be cut, he was taken into captivity easier than a little child. The former, (let that never be said of you), mighty warrior was now in enemy hands and what a celebration his enemies had that day. Samson was mocked, God was mocked, and all of Israel was mocked because one man had fallen. Never doubt for a moment that you are important to God and His people. From great to small God’s people are significant.
Just as it is true that righteous men fall it is also true that they do not have to fall. We are drawn away from God with our own lusts, but we do not have to be. A wise man will know and recognize his own lusts and drop to his knees asking God to rid him of sin. Anything that we ask of God that is according to His will He will give to us; and it is His will that you never fall. 2 Peter 1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall NEVER FALL.
