Provide a yes or no vote indicating your individual decision to have candidate Matt Waterhouse become the Pastor of Bethel Baptist Church

Where

Your vote may be acknowledged by 1 of the 3 following options:

  1. In person ballot process at the church
  2. Remote process via text
  3. Drop off vote at the church

When

Sunday May 10th by 1 of the 3 following options:

  1. In person ballot process during the evening service
  2. Via text between the hours of 12pm – 6pm
  3. Drop off vote at the church between the hours of 12pm -1pm or 5pm-6pm

How

In person ballot: Instruction will be given during the evening service

Remote process via text:

  • Text 314.681.6706 with your name followed by yes or no
  • Yes indicates a decision in favor of Matt Waterhouse becoming Pastor of BBC
  • No indicates a decision against Matt Waterhouse becoming Pastor of BBC
  • Text must include the name of each individual voting to ensure integrity

Drop off vote at the church:

  • Drive your ballot to deliver to an attendee at the church
  • Accepting drive in ballots between the hours of 12pm - 1pm or 5pm - 6pm
  • Vote shall include your name written on a piece of paper followed by yes or no & enclosed in an envelope
  • Yes indicates a decision in favor of Matt Waterhouse becoming Pastor of BBC
  • No indicates a decision against Matt Waterhouse becoming Pastor of BBC

Please be assured your vote will not be shared with our pastoral candidate.  The requirement of your name to accompany your vote is only to ensure the integrity of the voting process amidst our current circumstances to extend a remote voting option. In addition, 2 members of the Pastoral Search Committee will be counting and acknowledging the votes for the purpose of integrity.
